We visited the Viet Name Wall Replica while it was in Greeley Hill in June. We did see the Wall while in Washington DC ~ both are very moving. We do have a friend's name on the wall. Thank your Larry, Roger, David, Don and a brother-in-law, Don, who is with the Lord. All served in VN.

My "spiritual" mom, Ellie

This is Ellie, my "spiritual" mom. She and her husband, Marv, took Larry and I under their wings when we were babies in the Lord. My girls love them and called them grandma and grandpa Marv. Marv was our song leader at Maranatha Bible Church when where we became Christians in 1972. To this day when certain songs are sung in church tears come to my eyes. I can see Marv leading and just loving the Lord. He went home to be with the Lord years ago. Ellie would just listen to me rant and rave and rattle on about things and then let me be convicted by the Lord and just smile! She, and her daughter, Sharon are the ones who taught me how to pray, believe, and know that my prayers mattered and would make a difference! The last time I saw Ellie was at Melissa's wedding 15 years ago. We send cards and letters through the year. In October Larry and I decided to "pop" in on Ellie and Sharon. I can not tell you how precious that time was. We were blessed and will contiue to be blessed through the precious child of God (who by the way is 91!)
