Because Bar Harbor does not have a pier large enoughfor our ship to dock we had to anchor at Porcupine Island.
We were hoping to see fall foliage on the east coast. We were a bit early, but we were not disappointed on our bus tour to Acadia National Park we saw the beginning evidence of fall.Larry is talking with Melissa on his cell phone at the top of Cadillac Mt 1,530 ft. elevation, while she is looking up Cadillac Mt. on the internet. Technology these days!
We had 360 degree panoramic view and it was just beautiful.

Thunder Hole - this blow hole can be very loud and high.This is where the ocean swells and converge against the granite cliffs.
We were here during low tide.
This 27 mile bus tour took us along the ocean's edge passingSand Beach, Schooner Head, Otter Cliffs, and the Gulf of Maine.
