Montreal

MontrealFirst of all we want to thank all of you who prayed for us and were just as excited for our trip as we were. I personally want to give God the glory for providing for us in so many ways so this wonderful trip could happen. I know you all are wondering . . . did we get to go on the Anne of Green Gables trip – YES – we were so excited so thank you for praying with us. We took over 400 pictures so we won’t bore you with all of them (Melissa, Amy, John and families can’t get out of seeing them that easy!) I will post a few at a time so your visit at the site won’t be to time consuming.

We flew out of SFO – the almost five hour flight to Montreal, Canada was non-stop.

We then took a taxi to Friendly Home.
There we were gr
eeted with Christian love and fellowship.
We loved sta
ying there.

We enjoyed the prayer garden.

Also, while there the streets were closed due to filming a movie, “The Trotsky”.
They were filming a fast po
lice car driven past the students at the corner
of Royal and Cote St. Antoine.

We were sitting on a park
bench watching all that was taking place and were then told we could stay but we could not face where they were filming because they did not want our faces in the picture – so maybe we are in the film!

We enjoyed discovering a French pastry bakery – yumm!

The Olympic Park

We took a quick tour of the city and sites with Vinaha who was part of the staff at the place we stayed.

Next stop - Quebec
