On Sunday afternoon, January 25th, it started to rain, then it came down really hard. Next came lightning and thunder, then hail. Wow! Then a loud boom, like a cannon on the roof, the power went out. As darkness fell we broke out the candles. A business meeting was scheduled at the church. We attended with flash lights in hand as did most others. Later, back at the house we played Yatzee by candle light.

wow, its been 75' almost all week, rain sounds nice!
After the church meeting we took our flashlights/lanterns and headed to Mc Donalds for some ice cream and electricity. Then we returned home and played Hearts until 9:30!!
Actually this is hail which some of it stayed until the next day!
